I got the D2D version of ToEE way back in 2003 when I thought it was a good idea. I now find that none of the patches seem to work with the D2D version...is this a known issue? I've contacted trymedia and they basically said "tough" even though I paid full price for a game which I now cannot play (the XP loot bug for instance, makes it impossible) Anyone know a workaround? Any help would be really appreciated!
I think some people have had luck patching the download version, but I'm not sure if it's the same version you have. Your only other option is to drop the $10 on a jewel case version of ToEE.
I do not know if D2D is a generic term or a a company name. In the first case if you have the trymedia version and purchased it you should have received an email telling you that a new dl for ToEE including patch #2 is available.
or, if legal in your area, download a disk image (since you legally purchased the game) of a patchable version.
