I recently started playing this great game again and when i was vrecking havoc in emry meadows with my paladin and his trusted holy longsword +1 i noticed that no holy damage was aplyed when striking skeletons or anything else evil.....this was not the case in the original game was it ?

So is this a bug ?

I have the co8 and the portraits packs installed properly.

Skeletons in ToEE are currently true neutral (that is why there is no holy damage) but this will be fixed (as well as all of the rest of the games prototypes) soon.

Thats interesting... skels SHOULD be true nuetral, but then they should also take Holy damage (two common sense, not rules-based, observations...)

    Interesting...

Actually, in 3.5 skeletons and zombies are neutral evil so that the DO take holy damage. (And in my new protos.tab, they are.)

Are you certain they're evil? Thievery doesn't necessarily equal evil.

Yeah, I am gonna have to agree with Kalshane on this one. 3.5 has Skeletons and Zombies as evil, but bandits can be any alignment (except Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral).

So the Undead SHOULD take Holy damage, and since most bandits are probably aligned in the Neutral (not evil) categories (CN and N) those Neutral bandits should NOT take Holy damage. But, certainly, SOME bandits should be evilly aligned, and take Holy damage.

The moathouse guys are brigands, not bandits (world of difference, world I say) and they are indeed CN.

I was of the opinion that Brigands were Chaotic Evil Bandits...?
