wow thats only happened to me once, she said to me - "honey, here's 2 dozen beers for your fishing trip, while you're away I'll be at your mothers learning to cook all your favourite foods and going to bed early."

LOL, Good One Cujo!! I assume you were joking by your over the top finish to that :)

But, Bane- one thing... I completely believe you have "reconverted" two former non-lesbians in disguise, and I agree with your assessment of the inclination in general, BUT

I don't agree that that is "every man's fantasy". I always took the "every man's fantasy" part of Ophelia's offers to mean the two girls fantasy. I believe I am right on that. Ophelia offers Jenelda as a challenge that is "tight" I believe, then Riana as a "fiesty"
b!tch, and Mary and the animals as the bestiality option (Cujo-man's fantasy, I think), and then the S&M chick if you are into that (insert smarmy reference about your favorite modder/poster's preference here). The "twins", as I like to refer to them, is offered as "every man's fantasy" I believe, and, man they sure would be MINE!

Anyone else agree with me on this?

    Re: Please, guys,...

That's all I was trying to say about what I'd posted. And I'll defend myself when attacked, regardless of what anyone else thinks or says about it.

    "."

Just be careful; the thought nazis may come after you, too.

Okay, you know what, Spike, up until this exact moment I didn't have anything against you and I don't know what damn bandwagon you're talking about. I made my post. CB said "Thank you." That was it. And next thing you know you were crying like we were coming down on you like the wrath of God. I've been trying to be polite in resolving this, but you keep trying to turn it into a fight.

It takes a lot to truly piss me off, but you, sir, with your unfounded whining about oppression, have managed. Bravo!

And yes, it is a negative stereotype. If I'm "self-righteous" for saying so, what-the-hell-ever. My original comment was meant to be gentle nudge in the vein of "You might want to rephrase that." There is a common thought among certain camps that all a lesbian needs is a "good man" and they don't like women because of the women themselves, but because it's the only alternative to men, which they hate for whatever reason. I wasn't claiming you were trying to intentionally be offensive, I figured you probably didn't know. There's a hell of a lot of things I don't know, and I certainly don't expect everyone else to know everything.

But now I know that daring to disagree with you at all is equivalent to trying to burn you at the stake. So horray for knowledge.

Wow. That didn't take long. Godwin's Law seems to get triggered a whole lot faster these days.

As for the assorted conversion stories, I'm sure there's a lot of lesbians who can tell similar tales of "converting" straight women. In the end there are people who like men and people who like women and some people who like both and a million degrees in between. Some people might claim one word or another even if it isn't completely accurate, or because it makes them more comfortable, or whatever. It's an incredibly complicated subject and I agree this really isn't the place for it. I was hoping to end the arguement a while back, but apparently the only way to do that is to beg forgiveness for daring to disagree with someone, so forget that.

Actually, Kalshane, I THINK that in his last post Spike was trying to defuse the agression brewing betwixt the two of you.

He felt attacked, and defneded, you felt attacked and defended, and it sort of escalated. Neither of you really seemed to want to cause grief for the other, but each took it a bit too personally, perhaps. But that is my take on the whole thing.

Please guys, regardless of where it stands now, and who may have genuinely attacked whom, let's let it go.

I think that all involved agree now that there really was no INITIAL intent to agrravate on anyone's part, but that aggravation did occur. So let's go back to the beginning and let all the personal stuff slide, please?

Besides, it puts the focus back where it belongs- on me :)

Anyone gonna answer my two girls question/statement?

People please, This thread has degenerated into a fight about sexuality?

This is a site about ToEE... can we get back on topic? or close this thread as bickering among ourselves is not needed here, it doesn't advance or improve the game in any way, and is only raising tension for everyone in the group.

Serious question, if Jenelda can be so-called "converted", shouldn't the conversion be some kind of a quest that involves some "love-sex" plot?

It didn't read that way to me. It came across as if he was trying to directly insult me, so I responded in kind.

However, I'm willing to chalk this whole thing up to the vagueries of internet communication and that both of us were interpreting the other's tone incorrectly and let the matter drop. My apologies to everyone who had to deal with this.

I think any sort of "conversion" storyline is going to open up a can of worms that's best left alone, no matter how well it's planned out or written. Of course, this is just my opinion, so take it as you will.

i dunno man... the two-girls thing always seemed too complicated to me. i do prefer the one-on-one thing.

notice how i so elegantly avoid the sexuality flame-war altogether.

Moose is a chicken- and not "man enough" for two girls.

    LOL!! I am just KIDDING!

See how I so blatantly flaunted the whole sexuality flame-war so as to lighten the mood and further move us past it. :)

Hell yeah, this kinda shit pisses me off. if someone slights you, let it slide, its hard to convery tone through text so its easy to take things the wrong way. IMO (there's no such a thing as a humble opinion) Lord Spike has seemed a little grumpy lately (could be work or other outside influences) but I don't care, I'd normally keep my mouth shut, but because I've only had 2hrs sleep in the last 30 I'm grumpy as well. what he said about the thought nazis I thought was a joke - at me and ted and the other guys that poke fun, not a personal slight.

so you* can all just shut the hell up about whatever crawled up your asses and is making a stink before someone just leaves to never return. At your next level up take a level of bard and add some class skills to diplomacy.
personally I don't see her as the convertable type altho she can be topless

    *you = EVERYONE

The whole brothel scenario is just a bunch of useless nonsense that has very minimal effect on the game. There's not enough XP to even make it worthwhile, let alone argue about. If it had xxx video clips or something I could see the interest and rage. It's a waste of data and time. Let it go.

Sorry to bring up a dead thread, but,...

...figured I'd wait a little for things to cool. Anyway, the "twins" fantasy. Specifically, the "Leigh", twins? Pronounced, (LAY)? Because, that's what everyone'd like to think? Or is it, (LEE). As in, "Homa", (HO-MA?) and "Fuga", (FOO-GA)?/(FUH-GA)?

    HO-MA-LEE = Homely, and FUGH-A-LEE = Fughly, (ie. F'in' ugly).

Not my fantasy, sorry. I think the developers gotcha.

The hot twin Asian sisters from the Austin Powers Goldmember movie...Fook Mi and Fook Yu...would be good names for the twins in the Snake Pit...Laff.
