I'm trying to start the game, no frontend, || || game 1.0 + patch 2 + Co8 4.0.0 || || win Xp Pro Sp1 no net framework || || Nvidia 6600 AGp 256 MBRAM with latest drivers || || P4 2.8 MHz 1.5 MB RAM || but it doesn't make it through the intro cutscene... I use a lot of software and rpg games. Everything else seems to work fine. I also tried game 1.0 + patch 1 +patch 2 + Co8 but no luck I use A LOT of software with no problems at all! If you are trying to run the game via the frontend, yes you need .NET. Alternative might be a bink video problem your end. Or it might (though less likely) be a secure rom issue. My honest suggestion would be to install .NET and then reinstall everything in the order you have done it but putting the nocd crack for patch 2 in after installing Atari patch 2 but before installing Co8, choosing all options when installing co8 (ie use the frontend to run the game if you aren't already with the option to disable intromovies) and then see how things are. After that, you'll have the set-up most people are using which might make any potential hardware problems (eg video card settings which may need changing) a little easier to spot.

True but if you're going to reinstall the game to slip in the no-cd crack to eliminate any secure-rom issues, then you might as well get the frontend up and working too as it makes it a bit easier to just switch on and off the intro movie to see whether that helps out as well as just the ease of having it there in the first place :Crazy_Lio Great linked post Krunch :notworthy
