Newbie needs help:)

    Probably a simple question, but its late and cant figure it out. I installed Co8 patch , ran a game using the front-end, made a party and am at the 3 vendors getting initial gear. How do i leave this area to start the game? I cant access the world map? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.

    Nope. You get the one chance to buy stuff from them, so use it well.

    Maybe we should add that to the dialogue - "I'm ready to adventure, fair well for I'll never see you again"

    Thanx again. So are the beginning merchants the only place to find a composite long bow, or can I purchase or find one later in the game?

    Masterwork versions are available from the blacksmith, and a composite longbow (strength 14) is avaiilable to order from Tarrim (after completing the cure for Amii quest).

    I am working on a new mod in which there will be traders who can sell those items (proving you can find out how to make them appear), but the mod isn't ready yet.
