[SOLVED] having more than 5 PCs

i'm having a problem as well though, using this system.

I can go into the New Game screen and choose a new party. I can add up to the slotted 8 max players (PC's) but the pictures don't appear below...not such a huge deal given the fact that they appear on the shopmap screen (from the 4.0.0 patch i have). however, there are a few things i've noticed that are kinda bad

First, if i add more than the standard 5 pc's, such as just adding one more for 6, and then attempt to create a new character and click the Cancel button, the game crashes. If i try to Cancel out of the game once having added more than the standard 5 pc's, it crashes.

If i go into the game with the standard 5 pc's and go to the Welcome Wench and access the book on the table and add anyone else, if i talk to the people i added, it crashes.

I'll see if i can crash it doing other things (starting a party with more characters and testing them out in different situations)

soultion - make all your PCs BEFORE adding them to your party.

Soultion - make sure you started with all the PCs you wanted for the game and don't use the book in the Inn or Hostel

 

I had already done those things, i was just mentioning them here so someone could look at them...but thanks for telling me to do something i'd already done

Thanks for posting 'bugs' which are well documented in a hack which makes the game does things it wasn't intended to do :goatee:

Be nice people. Especially if someone is posting advice on how to resolve or avoid an issue when you say you have a problem. Teh internet sucks for communication at times, and teasing tired modders who are answering problems for the Nth time is not a good idea. Now where did I put my fluffy bunny....

 

This is cheating, not fair and it isn't according to the rules [almost sounds like who?]...LOL
