POLL -=- VOTE for your version of Windows

I have been updating the hardware recommendations thread. My hope is to provide useful consumable information, engineering computer-geek hardware and software information, to the ToEE community of gamers who visit the Co8 forums.

Concerning the future, I am asking you, the ToEE gaming community - as individuals, to learn what versions of Windows operating systems you prefer and have installed to play the Atari ToEE game.

Note: I am interested in the numbers of this poll to provide the percentages of voters who use what versions of Windows operating systems.

Why would someone spend like 750 US dollars to buy Windows Server 2003 just to install ToEE on a desktop computer running a server operating system that is similar to Windows XP Pro? That is why I did not list it.

[EDIT] There is a final release version of the 64-bit version of Windows XP Pro. Consider that one to be a vote for Windows XP.

[EDIT] I did not include the 64-bit Windows Vista as a vote option because it is not a final release version yet.

So far, there are 17 registered user votes. Shouldn't there be more people voting for their operating system?

    Please vote...and thanks!..

If you have Windows Server 2003, then cast your vote for Windows XP.

    1. What about the vista beta.

    2. Windows 2003 is VERY STABLE. My roomate is running it. He is using the Server Enterprise edition (the 8,000$ version... although it cost 20,000$ when he first... erm... bought it)
Furthermore. WinXP 64bit edition is windows 2003 compiled in 64bit. (just another reason why no driver would run on it... not only are the drivers not 64bit... but they are also meant for winXP, aka 2002 kernel. Not the 2003 kernel)
