Hello all: I'm playing the game again after installing the recommended patches/updates by the Co8, and I'm on the 2nd dungeon level (i.e. I beat 7 Juggernauts...LOL) and now my game crashes to Windows everytime I try to go UP OR DOWN ANY STAIRCASE? What is happening and how can I fix...I have done all this progress and I don't want to have to go through "noobsville" again !!!! Please help me - I'm desparate and thanks! :flamed:
Try clearing the map cache in ToEE. -> C:\Program Files\Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\modules\ToEE\maps Delete the files in the parent folder--do NOT delete any of the folders, just the files in the parent folder, maps. These files will have wild looking or wierd looking file names. Here are examples of the wild or wierd looking names. 131-zddg-1-yrkry-cdrtcjq-ryezri-21enZ enZeduH 3 enZ ynvgdijI cnzindO-gdvgricV-oyjC-9-enZ Close the ToEE game. When the ToEE game is closed, use either my computer or windows explorer to view the maps folder. There should be about 130 of these files. Delete all of these files, not any of the folders. When you restart the game, the game will take longer to load because it has to regenerate the about 130 files. You only need to clear the map cache when you load a new MOD.
Probably bad game data (corrupted)...I would suggest go back to an earlier game save. Maybe someone has something different you can try?
@Astraldeva Which patches are you running? The juggernaught fix is standard in the new Co8 4.0.0 patch.
does anybody around here know from where can i get the cool portrait's from the temple of elemental evil's page or the cool avatars from here at a bigger format, cuz they're really small !?
