Higher level spells

    I've been playing around with the patches here for a while, and I love all the work thats been done.

    However, with the one that gives the ability to level up past 10 (cant recall what does that), doesnt that make your spellcasters crap in relation to fighters? I was wondering if anyone has a patch or fix that adds lvl 6-9 spells to the game.

    They are slowly being created, one at a time. We currently have a handful, ummm harm, disintegrate, heal, maybe a couple others.

    Not to belabour the point, but...

    Finger of Death would be cool. A ranged Slay Living, as it were. Perfect for your high level evil spell caster(s).

    Well I was gonna post this in the existing 'spells' thread Kuraylon started a while back, but this'll do.

    Ted's list of spells (lvl 5 Bard, lvl 6 & 7 everyone else) that could be implemented and meaningful (very incomplete and debatable and not repeating ones already mentioned):

    Banishment: they probably shouldn't get rid of the Node gaurdians but if you could banish the ones who are subsequently summoned that'd be good.

    Mass Bear's Endurance, Cats Grace, Bull Strength, Owl's Wisdom, Eagle's splendour, Fox's Cunning etc.

    Mage's Lucubration: (NOT lubrication!!!)

    Mage's Sword: More a controllable critter shaped like a sword, than a expanded Spiritual weapon.

    Greater Shout:

    Song of Discord:

    Stone to Flesh: Good with petrification by Gorgons etc. Scroll needed for KotB!

    Mass Suggestion: 'Mass' pretty much everything, come to think of it.

    Summon Monster V (for bards):

    Symbols (fear, pain, persuasion, sleep etc):

    "Mass Inflict Moderate Wounds" and "Mass Cure Moderate Wounds" could be implemented on 6th level Cleric.

    Would "Planar Ally" and "Summon Monster VI" be possible?
