I created a undead cleric as a PC but I discovered something I did not expect about Inflict Light Wounds... I could not target myself with it on the undead cleric... and Cure Light Wounds ofcourse had the expected effect of damaging rather than healing... I looked at the Spell247 - Inflict Light Wounds.py, but I think I'm still green on what makes it possible to target the caster itself... I don't know how many times I've attacked an ally by mistake in this game (using attack options from the radial), so I don't see why it should be a problem to target myself with the spell Anyone have any ideas?
Try this, I modified the spell.txt files for you, you should now be able to select yourself with all inflict spells. I havn't tested it but it should work.
Ah! it was the text-files that decided targeting... I didn't know that Looking forward to trying this tonight... perhaps I'll start an all-undead party
I doubt he would unless somehow someone thought of it when his tactics were scripted (perhaps to take out commanded undeads)... but I'll let you know if it happens
