I dont like how Livonya's mod changes the PC's starting equpiment. is there anyway i can change that part back to the default easily? (I liked the default kinda made it harder and the PCs i use and am attchted to are used to the default stuff too. I cant seem to find any villager garb otherwise)

i dont understand how drifter did his work on humble NPCs (other than modifying the DLL :p) but is it possible to be NPC specific? I dont really mind the more powerful NPCs looting and it doesnt make sense to me for Scorpp to be very humble or let you mess with his inventory, but meleny, Lareth, serena and any of the prisoners that can join you should be humble

Also about the removal of the auto level up for NPCs... I liked them leveling themselves up, it made them seem more like NPCs and more unique. (keeps me from wanting to make them cookie cutter feat loadouts for their class.) does this have to be done to make them "humble" does "humble" have to be global among NPCs?

Brother's masterwork items it always kinda bothered me how he sold the masterwork items, not only because he would prolly not be skilling enough (his normal stock has very few) but i dont like being able to get them so early (what can i say? im a masochist :p ) has anyone made it so otis will do this instead? im not very talented at modding myself and i am just getting back into the game and i have forgotten so much about modding it i can no longer do it myself :p (about the only thing i did was photoshop one of the clothing texture to fix a problem with the male bard's starting clothes. which have a copy of the female version of the texture instead. I modified the color of the same outfit for the male and used that to replace the female duplicate)

About Toffee is there any way to easily make changes to all installed modules? (typically and modifications i make, assuming they work :p i want to affect all the versions i have installed)

Please dont take any offence to my little critique, modders these are just my preferences :p

EDIT: maybe i should have split this up and placed it into seperate threads/forums XP

I was gonna take a shot at this when I saw it earlier, but I will now...

    1. data/rules/start_equipment.mes Either delete it to return to the original file or edit it how you like - use item description numbers from data/mes/description.mes separated by a space.

    2. I don't think you can make looting npc specific from editing the .dll, however if you disable the humble NPC's patch there is a column that controls npc looting in data/rules/protos.tab (can't remember which one - do a search for it here at the co8).

    3. that was a separate fix, which can be disabled - search it to find out how- levelup.tab can be edited to your own tastes to tell the game how you want them to level up.

    4. Orion did the opposite - made masterwork available from the get go, otherwise don't do the giant's head quest and buy your masterwork stuff from Larreth - see the livonya's spoiler thread for tips to get this store.

    5. Yes but it's not that easy, open the frontend (but don't launch the game) move the files you want standardized into the Frontend folder (it only apears while frontend is open) and delete the same files you just put in Frontend from the other mod packs (a copy of a file in both frontend and the mod will cause frontend to fail), at least that's my understanding of it, ask agetian I may be wrong.

If you have my mod installed and patched to 1.2.0 or 1.2.1, there is now another shopkeeper in Nulb, Ah Fong, who sells a lot of the new gear introduced into the game by Cujo, HeavyDan et al including a fair bit of Masterwork stuff. He's in the eastern-most house in Nulb, just keep walking past the turn-off to Otis' shop.
