crash upon starting a new game

    when I try to start a new game (regardless of alignment) the game crashes and gives me this error:

    instruction at "0x2112ddba" referenced memory at "0x01b9b138" the memory could not be "read"

    I had just installed the shop mod that allows me to purchase my starting gear. I have Lyv's mod, humble NPC, and mobius installed as well...

    any ideas?

    should I just reinstall

    The shop map was mde with ted's 1.2.1 in mind, your probably experiencing an incompatability between the two mods, try either installing ted's mod and the shopmap again or use the toffee pack for ted's mod.

    I reinstalled everything from scratch...heres what ive done...

    installed:

    official patch one and two

    Co8 fan fix

    Morbius

    Liv

    Orion's

    humble npc

    in that order and still getting the same error...

    any suggestions

    Reinstall, and try starting the game after each step. This will narrow down where the problem lies. Once you've done this, post the results and we will work from there. This error can also be caused by background applications. Norton's Antivirus is notorious for this with ToEE. There are hardware issues that can cause this error as well. See Krunch's hardware thread for those.

    I just did that...

    I installed everything except orion and added cujo and allyx's mods...

    runs fine now...

    just a thought..

    Orions MOD is supposed to be compatible with ShiningTeds MOD 1.2.0. So, it might be because you did not install ShiningTeds MOD 1.2.0 prior to installing Orions MOD.

    if it's not that...*shrug*
