i am a newbie )) neverkmind that ... can someone xplane to me what i need to do when i get the Familliar icon in my inventory... how this skill works ??? :sadblinky
You don't need to do anything. As long as the familiar is in your inventory (and you can't remove it, unlike BG2) the familiar's bonus is automatically applied to the caster.
How would people feel about making familliar icons summon actual (tiny) creatures? getting the share spell funtions to work would be a major PITA though.
Having a familiar would be awsome IMO. I envy the fella in the lower caverns that has the little imp familiar.
that sounds awesome, exept the white for ps dragon, could you color some please, please. :raving: :biggergri :doublethu
You may have to ask Cujo nicely about colour changes - I'm no good with photoshop, but Cujo is a pixel wizard!
It's a great idea, though maybe not needed for all familiars? Like the frog can stay as it is... Also then you would somehow have (or should) implement CON loss on familiar's death...
The CON loss would be relatively easy. Just a san_dying script for the familiars. The thing is, if they are at all like animal companions, it would be a major PITA to keep them from dying. We would need better control over them.
thx so much .... one more question hehe ... abaut crafting magic armor & wepons ... i can only add +1... when i add +2 or +3 to a wepon , it doesnt affect it, dont understand what i need to do ... help pls :suprised:
Do you mean you can't move the +2 or +3 to the right side box in the create menu? If so, it's probably because you are not high enough level You have to be a certain level before you can craft these.
No !!! I have moved the +2 , and +3 but it doesnt affect the weapon ... it stays with a +1 bonus when i put it in hands
