Hi there, I downloaded this custom portrait pack

    https://github.com/Snaid1/ToEE_Portrait_Packs/tree/master

But it seems like only one portrait pack is ever active at a time. I thought this wasn't true with TemplePlus but is that incorrect?

    Here's my file structure: [IMG]

Am I actually supposed to use the overrides folder?

Have you hidden the scores of individual npc portrait .tga files there should be in this directory?

Nope, I had to add the directory myself lol.

Was there some sort of problem with my installation?

Are you running one of the Co8 8.1.0 modpacks or have you installed Temple plus directly on top of the GOG Temple of Elemental Evil?
I think we can conclude that as you installed the portraits directory yourself, your installation of Temple of Elemental Evil won't be looking for it.

    I installed C08 but I don't think I got it working, so I used Temple+ instead.

This is what I have as the configuration for both.

    Should I reinstall the game?

I think so. I have Co8 and Temple plus and installed the above portrait packs last night to better understand your position.
    The key differences are
    1. I did not have to create the portraits directory
    2. The portraits directory was already full of portraits

I copied the three folders into the portraits just as you did and now have lots of tiefling and aasimar portraits

I reinstalled the GoG version but there's still the same problem, the art folder is completely empty.

Dummy.txt has no text in it.

I would suggest trying Co8 again
