Co8 New Content: Verbobonc

Hello again.
Hope I'm not too pushy asking 4 your help.

It's like this - i've bought the game from the gog shop and played it. It was the oldest version with no verbobonc, Ayuz had no sword and so on.

Then I downladed a modpack. It was a different game with different rules and save files. It had verbo and had the problems I complained about up there.

The I've installed the temple+. It made the game way more beatiful - but the inintial gog game! Without verbobonc.

I have all the files uninstalled now. Could you please tell me what should I install and from where, step by step?

 

What modpack did you install?

There is a modpack that fixes issues, but does not add new material (no new content).

There is a modpack that fixes issues and adds new content - should be obvious in the name of the modpack with "NC" in it.

Also, once you install either of those modpacks, it changes how you launch the game.

If you use the GOG shortcut, then you are playing the GOG version.

Once you install the modpack, then there should be a new shortcut for it on the desktop.

You run that new shortcut, and it will open into a new dialog screen where you need to activate the modpack.

Then you can click on the Play button to play that modpack version.

 

It's kind of russian localisation so it isnt here.
And it was quite okay - until I left verbo for hommlet and couldnt get back(
So simultaneusly there was two different versions of the game with different quests, saves and so on.
After that I've installed temple+ and launched it via it's own icon.
And it started launching the gog version, the absolete one.
I've erased all the file now.
And i humbly asking you of help, if you could, of course.
Step one, download this.
Step two, launch that.
I promise that I'll dedicate Ayuz killing to the noble soul who'd explain me the path}

if you are still having trouble getting to Verbobanc-
use this console command

game.areas[14] = 1

then click the list of locations on the world map for Verobanc.

Good luck. I find Temple + to be very helpful.

Oh, thanks alot.

I did it and it works perfectly.

But one thing sucks - now for some reason critical hit don't work(

I mean, there's beatiful animation of a character making s suumesault or smth and the dialogue window says that the target is hit - but there's neither animation of bleeding nor damge actualy taken(

 

I have never seen such bug. The next time it happens, can you post a screenshot of roll history containing damage details?
