    Lots of new additions for another run. Nice.

    I had a quick look and Abjurant Champion fits pretty well for Elmo and Fruella well within the basic temple adventure, so that adds some nice variety for the Npcs. The PRC seemed to plug into a conveniently-leveled existing game without any issues, so that's good.

    I'll start a new game soon with a focus on all the new spells and Stormlord (finally a respectable use for throwing javelins). The only questionable issue might be that Stormlord will almost always prefer a reach longspear over the standard spear due to the ToEE advantages. Even though +1 spears can be found in game.

    It looks like Abjurant Champion also fits Meleny. Crazy! She starts with Combat Casting and Scimitar (Martial).
    I'm going to try 6druid/2monk/1sorc/5AbChampion . Rat form with eventual shield+9 and other wiz spells with Natural Casting. Or some variation.

    It also seems that it could fit with some npcs with the bare minimum arcane stats like Tuelk (2H chain) and Kobort (2H hammer), if you invest a bit into the appropriate stat. In Kobort's case, you'd need to use charisma/sorc and delay third level spells until he gets to 13 charisma. I'll test it. This should allow wearing non-crafted light armor + shield spell with a minimal downside of spell failure.

    I dare say we have all seen that number hover over an unarmed attack and wondered why it is not there all the time, I guess it was meant to be there and that would help n00bs etc greatly if they can see in advance they only have a 5% chance to hit.
    No, never.

    Can't help but notice that the person who demands the most changes / updates / houserules has NOT put their hand up to test. Heh.

    Fun fact: this also applies to thrown weapons, and it also highlights critters that are providing cover.

    Furthermore, it's hard to tell for sure, but it looks like it was supposed to work for all attacks, and the only reason it didn't... is a bug.

    I'll convert this to a House Rule option, and it'll also affect normal attacks. Though I guess it's not a big deal anyway since you get the % to hit from the roll history anyway.

    Is there an appropriate thread to discuss some spell addition questions that may arise? For example I noticed that Faith Healing is simply a more restrictive version of cure light wounds (and thus is redundant).

    There is a subtle but important difference - Faith Healing does 8hps plus 1hp/level (max 5) rather than 1-8hps plus 1hp/level (max 5); thus if you run a single deity party you get Maximise Spell for free.

    Brutal throw feat (thrown weapons use strength bonus)

    Tested with Javelin.

    1. Does not show correctly on character sheet (only displays the pure dex bonus).
    2. Also seems to not work correctly in combat. Final total is short according to the combat rolls log.

    Edit:

    It seems to be +1 short in the log, as well - but in a different manner. I'm assuming that it fails to account for weapon focus. ie,

    20 strength (+5), 12 dex(+1), javelin throw with wf spear shows in log as:

    +1 dex
    +4 strength bt. (but no wf +1 shown)
    ______________________________
    = +5.

    should be +6 because of wf +1 .


    Also, javelin does not correctly show racial bonus(halfling) on character sheet, although racial bonus does display correctly in combat log. A sling, however, will correctly show the racial bonus on the character sheet.

    Unsure what's up. I am seeing purple haloes(afterimages) around the back of the decklo grove spiders, plus my barbarian. (If it matters, he is in the lamellar armor.)
    I recently did a full manual reinstall, because GOG Galaxy is being a total butt. I activated Co8 in TFE, then the BG facepack. Then I copied the new build into appData/Local/TemplePlus, and started a new game.
    Level one, no spell effect on my Barb. Pretty sure none on spiders, but only 98% certain.

    Heh, that just an indication that there's a missing texture. I added it on purpose so it stands out wherever it needs to be fixed.

    Also, Kobolds are hitting me and doing zero damage. I assume this is intentional.

    Divine lvl1 spell Conviction

    Crashes the game immediately after cast, but before the target is selected. I've tried various maps and casting with no other active spells - meaning that it is probably universal.
