    3 times makes party I haven't been able to recruit mother Screng, really piss me off the requirement was harsh :angry:

    1st must be good party alignment, must be below lvl 5 must have otis for teh second time I dont know what others after this.... :raving:

    She's a pretty high level spellslinger for a low level party...That's why.

    She keeps her real face in a jar by the door...

    Does she also insist on bringing her off-sider along? I have never recruited them, but having 2 party slots at that point would be another burden.

    Is there any way to circumvent the Lvl <5 requirement to recruit Mother Screng? I'd like to give her a try for a cleric as I'm growing a little tired of Ronald, and she'd fit a CG party better anyway.

    - Kill Furnok for his ring
    - Kill Fruella for her cleaver
    - Kill Ronald on principle

    Otherwise open her file, in data/dlg/00111y'dey.dlg (you can open in Notepad and fiddle with it, though UAC may mean you have to make a copy to change - do NOT just save it as a .txt file. Apolgies if you know all this) and have at it. The relevant line is 7.

    I killed Fruella for her EXP. I spared Ronald. Why have people killed him on principle?

    Nah, I think he was pretty hilarious to have around, especially with his terrible songs. I just think Screng fits the story better, is all.

    Once you get a MU that can cast Dominate, you can add any of the NPCs you want (even hostile ones and ones who normally don't have the option to join) to your party.

    I'm trying to run an NG party and recruit Otis, Mother Screng and Hruda. Is it possible to recruit her if I level squat my party at level 5 and continue to accumulate XPs? The reason is because I want to do all the quest in Nulb including the assassins encounter in my home at Nulb.

    If it's possible I don't want to use the Dominate trick mentioned by Dreamteam.

    Yes, it is possible to squat for this.

    Just be certain to qualify for alignment condition, as well.
