    Since ToEE doesn't have Knowledge skills and the Archivist is meant as an INT-based divine caster a la Wizard, Spellcraft is the closest analog since it's INT-based and you are doing magical things with it.

    Also, Archivist begs to have Academic Priest (and, by extension, Dynamic Priest which works as Academic Priest but uses CHA instead of WIS/INT) included! Dynamic Priest is meant mostly for Favored Souls, CHA-based Clerics, and Paladins. Similarly, the Serenity feat makes Paladins WIS-based instead of WIS & CHA-based.

    Intuitive Attack is a WIS-based Weapon Finesse, using WIS or STR to accuracy with finessible weapons, whichever is higher. Yondalla's Sense is Halfling-only, but adds WIS bonus to init.

    (Remember my Practiced Spellcaster concern/question regarding applying to racial and Inspire Greatness HD if the CL bonus is within the feat's limits.)

    Two or more quick T+ questions:

    1) was anything done about san_use? I always felt it was bugged, as pretty much everything seems to return 'you failed to use the item'. Even the one reliable thing I can think of - using it to 'read' books (create an NPC who engages in dialogue) - has, i believe, a 'you failed to use the item' box going on behind the NPC's chatter which I seem to remember you can see if you shut the chatter down fast enough.

    Getting it working properly, so that using an item would just run the san_use script, would be awesome. Currently to do anything you basically have to make a spell and use the item from the radial menu like a wand with 'UsableItem' in the proto.

    2) I seem to remember you guys mentioning tool-tips, are these available in-game (ie in general play, not just while looking at things in the inventory)? Ideally I am wondering if there is (or could be) a python hook that could be attached to something that could be stuck in game so that, when you hovered over it, you got a float text telling you something about the thing (I am thinking of replicatng the 'question mark' hover thing in IWD, of course, but it could have a number of uses). Essentially, a 'look' command, preferably tied to san_examine :)

    3) And speaking of which, any plans (if not already done) to provide functionality for san_critical_hit, san_critter_hits and the other non-functioning sans?

    Nothing was done about all three, though they are all very possible with a bit of work.

    There was some discussion about BG style tooltips, probably in PMs (or was it over IWD?). Certainly something I'd like to add one day...

    I'll just quickly add (lest I confuse people) that san_use does seem to get called when you just use an item in normal play (so for instance, drinking a potion will call a san_use if it is attached to the item, with attachee as the item and triggerer as the player I believe) its just the frequent uselessness of the 'use item' function in the inventory screen that strikes me as a wasted opportunity.

    It would be great if the Expanded Spell Descriptions component could be adapted for the new spells in Rudy's mod / Domain Spells mod as well. They look rather out of place as it is.

    Quick question, are prestige classes properly implemented as not counting towards a possible XP Penalty? E.g., can I let's say go Rogue1/Fighter9/Dwarven Defender10 without incurring a penalty?

    Xp penalties are done correctly for prestige classes.

    I'm experiencing a reproducible save game corruption on any save in the Welcoming Wench tavern ever since (no idea whether related or not) the Drinking Contest quest. Upon loading a save there, I can see the screen for a few seconds, with strangely enlarged character sprites, then get a Temple+ crash report. These are the corresponding lines from TemplePlus.log:

    If you .zip up your saved game files and your party's character files and attach them to a post here, perhaps @Sitra Achara will take a look at it for you.

    Yes, sending the save files will help a lot. The character files aren't necessary.

    Ah I'm sorry - I had already overriden the corrupted saves in the meantime. I just tried to reproduce it, went back to the WW, but now saving there seems to be fine. I could swear though it was reproducible at the time - possibly something done in the meantime fixed whatever variable was off? I will make sure to backup any broken saves occurring in the future.

    PS: Another strange crash, this time with save file attached. Casting the cantrip "Read Magic" with the bard (and, as I just tested, any other cantrip for that matter - Lvl 1 spells are fine though) leads to a CTD without error notification. I hope this is the right place to report this!

    Hi, you zipped slot043.gsi instead of slot004.gsi...
    Otherwise I wasn't able to reproduce this issue with a fresh bard.
