    Hi

    We are planning our final release at the end of this month along with the new Temple Plus release. Actually it is tied to it :)

    Is the final release going to be a module in TFE-X or still a standalone game?

    Actually, it's going to be a Temple+ module - you'll just put a couple of dat files in the modules folder, and then run the Temple+ configurator -> select the active module from a drop down.

    Finally got a chance to start this module and really impressed! The 2d takes some getting used to but not bad. In fact, it makes me think of playing tabletop D&D on an oversized grid paper back in the day.

    Couple of notes so far:
    1. Im showing a low Intelligence roll here but I was really confused because when I started up SGoSG the ToEE intro comes up. I kept quitting game and trying to figure out why I was being dumped into ToEE. After several tries and a lot of scanning the threads, I finally figured out I have to go through the ToEE intro and equip in the ToEE waiting area before I can get to SGoSG.
    1. I spent all my gold equipping in the ToEE waiting area but when I entered into SGoSG I got my gold back. I didnt want to OP my party so I blew it on composite bows for my frontline tanks.
    2. Yet after the first battle I had 2 half plates and a breastplate. So my fighters ended up OP anyway.
    3. I havnt read the bug thread yet so maybe this is already addressed, but scouting an area with a sneaking rogue is futile because the monsters arent activated until my front line enters the room. In the first room Subatai the Thief (and Archer) did concentrated searches and found nothing, then when the Paladin walks in bam! There are three hobgoblins, and two of them appear within striking distance of poor Subatai.

    Im only halfway through the first dungeon. You guys are great! Thanks for this!

    In 2015 I decided to replay toee again, but this time reading all description entries of ToEE printed original module. Oh boy how much more information there was! The mood, the story and background became so much clearer. Troika's artists did great job painting rooms as intended. But my mind is more comfortable with explaining things in text, than deriving from picture.

    Combining ease of 2D maps creation and my experience as DM I decided to stick with such kind of game.

    Anyways, as for your notes:
    1) Yeah, we missed intro part. Need to think how to fix that.

    2) Dungeon Master Guide 1 and 2 define wealth of PCs on certain levels. On level 2 start PCs should have masterwork equipment and 900 gp wealth per each. That's 3600 gp for 4 PC. That's a lot. So it's by design.

    3) I will add True Seeing to promter npc which starts entry dialogs. Thanks for this bug! :)

    Yah, I saw this one coming. It takes some getting used to how Anatoliy has set up this module, it's different, that's all there is to it.
    Spot and listen on such critters should be high (like 50, or 99). A similar bug came up in KotB a few months back.
