In the video game, I'm unsure if Cleave's requirement of adjacent foes holds. If not, Cleave works as in 3.5.

Cleave works differently in Pathfinder, I'll post the feats for both 3.5 and PF for comparison purposes.

    3.5srd says:
    While PFsrd says:

So Cleave (PF) is a bit like Sweep - lets you hit adjacent foes - while Cleaving Finish is like 3.5 as Endarire says, let's you have another attack when the foe goes down?

So far cleave is doing nothing for me. Amiri has a long reach weapon and enlarge person cast on her. So there should be enough potiential second targets. But whenever she hits something so it goes down, no second attack although i choose the cleave action before attack.

That's not how Cleave works in Pathfinder though, they don't need to go down to give the extra attack, but they do need to be adjacent to each other, and you'll have an AC that is 2 lower than normal while Cleave is selected. Check to see if you are getting extra attacks while in contact with adjacent foes.

Ok, I thought within reach would be enough. So if one opponent is standing to the right of my fighter and one on the other side I can't use cleave, right?

By the rules, no. They should be both within your reach and within 5 feet of each other.

Pathfinder oddly nerfed a buncha stuff that shouldn't've been nerfed, like Cleave. Regardless, that's how the game works by default.

Yes, but since the turn base mod the game became so good in general that those faults to me are lamenting in luxury. (I don't know if this is an adequate translation for the German saying: "Jammern auf hohem Niveau"?)
The only game I could imgine that would even be better is naturally IcewindDale in a turn base mod;).

They had better or they know what's coming...
Nah, I was referencing my own lack of progress at my end.

I was being endearingly self-deprecating :D it's one of my charms. That and handling feedback in a gracious, professional and adult manner.
