anyone made such a tool? would be nice to have one like the ones from icewind dale, changing weapons etc.. or does any one know of a full list of console command numbers for the "give [insert number here for item] command?
you can open the file called "description.mes" in the mes folder (it's in the data folder) with notepad. Don't worry that it's not already a notepad file, opening it will have no ill affects. I have seen some posts indicating opening the mes files with something other than notepad can create problems, but I have never used anything else.
I've opened, edited and saved description.mes with notepad, wordpad, and phalzyr's protos editor, and had no problems with any of these programs.
Hmm ok read the .MES files in notepad but how do i get the console up and add things in game? This would have been great to have on my first time through TOEE when the damn Fire Boss dropped but had no gem on it.
