Has anyone noticed that if you fight the windwalkers in the air node, you can hit them with swords and things when they are incorporeal and you shouldn't? It says they are immune to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning attacks but you can hit them with those attacks.
In tabletop, I haven't seen any reference to weapons not effecting them, except to say that the weapons need to be at least +1 enchanted.
Scratch that, it shouldn't influence the Windwalker (but I did catch what could be a future bug, heh). Anyway this is not a bug, there is a damage multiplier of 0 that is only bypassed when attacking with a magic weapon.
I am using the original TOEE engine not temple+. When I look at the damage, it says immune to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning. But since it looks at what the weapon does, you can hit it with a sword or scather, and it will do damage since those weapons only use one of those things. I read the damage and it said slashing and then immunity for the three but didn't take off anything. It would seem that the only thing that should hit the windwalkers would be magic but it doesn't.
Magical Weapons bypass DR/Magic and do full damage. Damage from non-magical weapons would be reduced.
Let me get this right - the game is behaving perfectly, but the breakdown is incorrectly saying the critter is immune to weapons where magic weapons affect it normally. Is that the problem?
I'm not sure if this working as intended but in Welkwood Bog I when in with a Evil cleric a effective level of 5 (improved turn undead feat) and Managed to Command Mathel, now I've explored the entire bog but my quest journal is not updating. I've tried KIlling Mathel and also reloading before I kill him and killing him normally and nothing updates.
Best way to botch up your game by not killing quest target but pull it on your side. I'm not sure if there is actually an update the moment you kill Mathel. You should juast hear this light "Bing, Bing" sound when game makes essential quest progress. Did you try to inform quest giver (captain forgot his name) in Hommlet?
I managed to figure it out, It was my own fault since there is no quest update in your log after you kill him but when I killed him and then talked to the captain I was able to complete the quest.
