Unlootable weapons

    Does anyone know what the point is with the OIF_NO_LOOT weapons, held by gnolls, bugbears and giant types? These are not so worthy that selling them would make the game imbalanced.

    It might be how Atari avoided letting PCs have larger weapons...

    I don't know, the player can buy weapons with very similar stats from the shopmap or the blacksmith.

    I think the only one that snuck through in Atari's original was the cleaver.

    I believe the point is that the PC models aren't intended to work with those weapon models thus PC's were denied the ability to loot them, they tend to cause the game to CTD when equipped IIRC.
