He seems to be in the temple during quest dialogue, but after last quest and you return to kill him off, he vanished. You can kill him in his normal spot, but once Earth Temple reacts, it is not possible. It is not a once off. I have done multiple games thinking I did something wrong? Only found his location this time using clairvoyance. Are you able to use a save before killing off the Earth Temple and see if he is in correct location?? I am using latest version of NC.
Once you clear the temple you get a slide show telling you the status of all the temple priests, if you missed Romag it will mention where he was last seen and what happened to him.
I am aware of this. But, is his relocation to an unaccessible location deliberate to highlight him being a coward? I will try spawn creature console to see if coordinates in itt(?) transfer file is wrong? If creature spawns in the hidden location and not in the temple then the fault is there. What is console command for determining map coordinates? I am not sure on this command.
Ok thanks, but that is saying he escaped. I did look at the sticky on console commands, but missed one specifically for coordinate location on any map, apart from party coordinate location. If an error in set up, I will try to repair. If deliberate so he escaped, then makes no sense as you prevent players having any choice to defeat him or not?
Ok I have checked the files. The coordinates for Romag's old and new locations are OK. I have checked by teleport console command. They are as assigned: #Near his old room that is. def romag(): game.fade_and_teleport(0,0,0,5066,460,448) return #from itt.py dummy, romag = rnte( 445 , 444 , 8045 , 688 , 482 , 398 , 5.5 , 50, 'special',[]) It seems he vanished on another transfer by teleport from leading the party to Hendrack, or some other unknown reason I can't find? His new location is: 5066,482,450(?),going by trial.
Hmm, I got the last quest, went back then he vanished??? Did you kill him in the Earth Temple before his last quest???
I came across a small bug I didn't see mentioned here. I recruited Pintark and Tuelk. When it was time to level Pintark, I tried to select his next level of Fighter, but it wouldn't allow me to get past the Skills tab. Due to Pintark's 3 Intelligence (I suppose), he had negative skill points. Specifically, -1. As such, I couldn't assign skills and thus couldn't proceed. Instead, I leveled Pintark as a Ranger, which I believe gave 3 skill points, allowing me to proceed with the game. This happened with Co8 NC and Temple+. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to reload and see if the issue was consistent or something I could reproduce, but I'll probably try to see if it's still happening when I get to the Temple in the latest game I'm playing.
Sitra it has happened to me in multiple games. I have tracked to the last quest completion where Romag escorts you to Hendrack. The transfer coordinates to return him to the temple seem to be bugged. I can't find the file with coordinates on? I found the old to reactivate temple coordinates only.
It's probably a bad jumppoint. I'll try to rake a look, but it doesn't sound related to the reactive temple.
I just got through the fire node...I noticed that the Noble Salamanders didn't have double damage due to cold all the time...Then there were some error messages and I don't know if they were just happening (it didn't happen all the time)...I have pictures...
