Wow, an old timer! As per yesterday's post - the KotB patch has had a lot done to it (so it's a genuine 2.0, not just a patch) but is still a ways from completion. It's on hold for the foreseeable future. Not abandoned, just on hold since such time as I currently have to mod (very little) is spent on IWD. (If you haven't seen the first IWD TC release, go check that out ) I don't want to say any more because I don't want to get anyone's hopes up about anything. Yes I do have my hopes of further work on KotB, but for the moment it's on hold.
Glad to hear it's not been abandoned, the KotB module has a lot of potential for custom content expansion. Yes, I have been following the progress of the IWD conversion project with great interest! BTW, will the IWD TC be compatible with the IWD EE available from STEAM? I also own the old physical cd game if required. Thanks to all the contributing folks for both KotB and IWD TC conversion project!
Yes, any and all versions of the IWD game are compatible with (and required to make use of) the IWD mod. It's also compatible with Temple+ if you wish to run both IWD AND Temple+.
