Make sure Anti-aliasing is OFF and you may need to adjust your system security. The Temple+ thread has a LOT of info.

I've gotten that error several different ways

 

do i need a specific Directx installed?
i did installed https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35 but still same error...

Have you tried turning AA off in the configuration utility?
I'm also assuming your GPU drivers are up to date.
Other than that no idea, maybe your GPU isn't compatible...

 

Yes AA=False.
Its also unchecked on the Config.exe
My GPU has the best possible updates (thats what windows says after i run device manager to update it )
I can play normally ToEE and Co8 but no Temple+

 

i tried many things, nothing worked.

I guess its my GPU?... its GeForece 7900 GT/GTO (bought in 2006). Anyone knows for sure whether it supports DirectX11 or not?

But from what i understand (me being a total noob to this kind of things) my GPU (GeForce 7900 GT/GTO) supports Directx 9.0c (from what i have been told) and gdVoodoo 2 (the program) doesnt wrap Directx 9. So basically even that program cant help in my case??

Please guys someone that understands from these kind of things let me know.

Hi, I'm not familiar with any 3rd party program that can help you with that.

You can download an older version of Temple+ before the dx11 upgrade but it won't have all the fixes nor many if the new features like new classes.

Otherwise, consider investing in a gpu upgrade...

well... i made it work thanks to this video BUT my FPS is around 10-15 and thats very bad, plus without AA the game looks bad.
I can say it was an interesting experience.

 

I'm running the latest version of Temple+ on Win7 Pro 64 bit with a Geforce titanx 980. I think the latest version is 1.0.37.

 

I'm not sure where to post this but i have a CTD issue whenever i try to travel on the world map. I have the latest versions of Co8 and Temple+. I have tried to go back and use earlier saves and even saves from other parties. Nothing works. Any ideas from you awsome folks?

 

I'm experiencing the same thing myself.

Let's hope SA has a chance to stop by, because I was running fine up until the last auto-update of Temple+.

 

So i heard that Arcane Archer is good to go. Anyone test drive that PC yet? As soon as that world map travel bug is fixed I'm making a party of prestige class characters with AA as my star.
