Re: The chest, I had added a san_heartbeat script to the .mob file, I'll try switching it to a san_unlock script instead.

RE: the jerky movement on a couple of maps, I'm unsure what may have caused this, was it working fine before? The Mill issues may be caused by Jermsy - the boy in the closet - he was Rothbert from Verbobonc in another life, perhaps his old script file is causing some hiccups, as for Kuldahar Pass North, I'm unsure of the cause, as I've not really changed much there aside from limiting arrow drops and removing bucklers.

Regarding the map artwork data files:

I've made some progress on extraction of the tileset files but it may take a while before I have a working utility that handles all the various versions of IE and converts them to the ToEE format. Also, integrating it into vanilla ToEE itself is a challenge, and I don't think I can provide a GUI for the user to look up the IWD folder there.

I recommend adding a new facility to TFE-X so that when a user wants to activate the IWD module, it asks to locate the IWD folder first. It can detect the chitin.key and do some basic parsing. Later on this will be used to extract and convert the tileset files (and other files if necessary), for the demo I think it's enough to just do basic detection (not as some tamper-proof method, but it'll be effective for most users anyway).

Editing how TFE-X works for this module will need @Agetian or some other skilled programmer to do whatever is needed (IE not me) a basic check that IWD is installed should suffice for now (although I admit, I don't know how to do that either).

Bare in mind also that ToEE will need both day and night versions for outdoor maps, some outdoor maps I've encountered have only one of these (EG Kuldahar has no night map, Destroyed Easthaven has no day map) so some artwork will need to be included even if most if the maps can be imported via the utility upon installation.

I can probably add it if @Agetian releases the source code for that. (why isn't it oublic anyway?)

I'd have to load up some older patches to see when this issue started

In the Load Game screen, an image isn't always displaying to the left of the game for me. Not a big deal, but thought I would mention it.

That seems to happen if you save in windowed mode. Just a ToEE/TFX thing.

@Allyx - I just played thru Patch 2. This is the earliest patch that I have that gets me into the Pass.

The jerky motion is present in this version, too.

Again, there is no trouble when all the dead goblins are laying around. It is only after you rest for some days, and the bodies disappear that there is trouble, and it is only in the second level of the Mill and the North map. No trouble anywhere else.

Thanks @FDR4PREZ I have no idea what could be causing the issues you describe, and I've not had this issue personally. Could I ask you to attach a .zipped save game where this issue is present? Perhaps @Sitra Achara would like to take a look at it too.

I would assume from the fact you must rest until the bodies have decayed that it may be caused by the ground model of some item of loot found on those maps, but I can't think of any item that is used exclusively on those 2 specific maps.

Are you able to gather all the loot from the floor while this jerky animation problem is present? And if so, is the problem resolved at all after collecting the loot? And if so, can you work out which item causes the issue to stop?

I am not sure which files to zip up, and if I do the entire folder it is too large for the forum

Why is the limit so small?

So this link should allow you to download my zipped file of my Save folder: Save.zip

If you load the "Pass 10" game, it is right at the map exit into the North map. You can go in there, move around as normal.

If you rest until healed, or any suitable length of time to allow the bodies to disappear, then go into the North map now you will have trouble.

Just for future reference each saved game uses 4 files that share a similar file name EG "Save 0 'save name'*.*"

Yeah, something like that, I can't check it out in game yet, I'm currently at work, but I'll try to check it out tomorrow in more detail.

    Hey Al,

Sorry I have been incommunicado but insanely busy with work, will have RE file done for end of weekend. Will also look into that issue with Hrothgar's quest in the Orc Cave as mentioned.

Curses, I killed the thread. Let me resurrect it.

Here is a fix for Gaspar - I must have been hallucinating, he didn't say anything about Damien unless you botched the quest (probably I was thinking of Damien's own reaction not dad's). Tested :)
