[SPOILERS!] What does the Eye of Flame cloak -do?-

Greetings, all!

I know this Eye of Flame cloak is useful in bypassing an ogre in the Moathouse. Is it useful otherwise? If so, how?

 

I believe it allows you to freely bypass everyone up to Lareth. Could be wrong. I never use it since I like to kill everyone.

 

Any Temple applications?

 

Don't think so.

 

My experience is that it's only usefull for Lubash and the first Sergeant, but you still need sufficient bluffing skills. Even if you want to kill them it gives you the opportunity to attack them by surprise after talking to them.
