Ive had ToEE for a long time now, but due to its released version condition (unplayable) due to numerous game stopping bugs, crappy voices, 90% of everything is broken and so on and so fourth, im sure you all get the picture.

So, It sat on my shelf for a looong time until I found this place and got the

    Lyvia (spelling?) MOD
    Voice Pack
BG portraits - With this installed I was able to edit the image files to use my own custom portaits
    and the community fix.... thing?

    1) Id like to know besides from the beforementioned items what do you considered to be a must have for this game?

    2) There is a book in the Innn that if I click on it, It brings me to the party pool, so far Ive noticed that the Roll-stat thing doesnt work there and I wonder if there are any other bugs with that party pool?

    3) Could someone tell me what each familiar does? I dont have my manual, just the CDs.

    BTW Hi all and thanks!
Ima fan of, Morrowind, NWN played some Dungeon siege!

    Welcome!

    1) Look here for the relevant patches and mods and how to install them.

    2) I'm not aware of that bug, but I've never used the party pool in the Inn. If you use dulcaoin's PC Count Patcher though (which allows you to play with more than 5 PCs), you should be aware that using the party pool book can make the game crash.

    3) There should be a PDF version of the manual on the play disc.

    Wizard Familiars

Bat - Master gains a +3 bonus on Listen checks
Cat - Master gains a +3 bonus on Move Silently checks
Hawk - Master gains a +3 bonus on Spot checks
Lizard - Master gains a +2 bonus on Will save checks
Owl - Master gains a +3 bonus on Spot checks
Rat - Master gains a +2 bonus on Fortitude checks
Raven - Master gains a +3 bonus on Appraise checks
Snake - Master gains a +3 bonus on Bluff checks
Toad - Master gains a +3 hit points
Weasel - Master gains a +2 bonus on Reflex saves

And the familiars just take up a spot in your inventory, along with the bonuses. They are not separate creatures that can fight or use stealth like in BG2.
