I came back from the Temple, I killed the trolls and ogre leaders, and now the people in Nulb attack me. The smith vendor attacked me too but Otis is non-hostile(and so is his apprentice).

Thx, save does as you describe, though it doesn't happen in a fresh game. I'll see what I can do.
BTW by any chance have any of the other Guardians gated in a Hezrou in that playthrough?

Just noticed something while going through the Fire Node...

I killed both Efreeti at the same time but only one died. The other had to die after going back into combat.

    Run it as an administrator.

I have installed and never had to run it as an administrator.

I used to on Vista until I learned where to put it. The same trick works on windows 8 as well.

That's right, you need to put it outside Program Files. Forgot about that.

Ok, I think it's related to you having previously fought a Hezrou (looking at the logbook, it appears the Balor summoned a couple?). In particular, there's a couple of 'Spell Objects' in your main char and Elmo's inventories, which I think should not be there - perhaps they were not properly removed.

Anyway, it seems like resting fixes the error and allows you to fight the Hezrou without the lockup.

Thanks for posting the save, I'll try to fix the script for future versions.

I am playing the newest version.

I have Spugnoir in my party. The first time he leveled up, he didn't even gain a single HP. :tired:

EDIT: Nevermind; my Nvidia driver was defaulting to the integrated graphics mode as opposed to the video card. It's choppy but doesn't crash with the video card engaged.

EDIT to the EDIT: No, nevermind. That did not fix it. Crashing like mad (also the quest won't complete despite having a logbook entry saying I can, but nevermind that)

    Hi, a crash report:

    Windows 8.1
Module 8.1.0 New Content with Baldur's Gate Image Pack (8.01 also present but not active)

Everything has been going pretty well up until I entered the Verbobonc sewers - now I'm getting repeated crashes in Sewers and Rabbit hole. Haven't tested outside of these areas yet.

I am working on the "What Lies Beneath" Quest (Active: Family Turmoil, Building Credit; Completed: Frozen Assets quest and Under Attack from Underground). I Only have Zaxis at the moment (but the NPC composition doesn't seem to matter)

I can seem to go several minutes of mapping before the crash - the crash is hastened by casting the "clairvoyance" spell and panning around extensively (memory leak?)

    Windows Error Logs:
I attacked what I hope are the relevant files: TFE-X.txt (log file), one of the sample saves with the issue, and DxDiag output.

    java -version yields: 1.7.0_09

EDIT: oh, and a 0xC0000005 is an "access violation error".... hrrrmmm....

As someone fairly new to this, is there a verbose log option on the TFE-X executable, beyond the log file?

  14. Not sure if this is the right place for this, so apologies if it is not.

My 12th level cleric has 6th level cleric spells and slots for them, and she has a slot open for a 6th level domain spell, but no 6th level spells to choose from. Is this a bug?

As far as I remember from a discussion before: Not really. But you can drag any lower level spell there so the slot is at least not wasted.
