    I didn't have internet access for a week or so. But I have been working hard on my mod and am getting close to finishing the 2.0 build.

    I had to do some massive work on a few problems... and I finally have working fixes for a few problems that were really giving me a headache.

    Fixing Charm/Suggestion took a long time, and getting the Hill Giants to throw their Giant Rocks also took some time. Plus I had ran into some other weird problems...

    Anyway, here is my new coming attractions change log.

    I should be releasing 2.0 within 2 weeks time.

    * Kent (the first little kid) now offers a choice between Normal and Hard mode
    -- Hard Mode is the default
    -- Hard Mode adds more difficult content
    -- For instance additional monsters and tougher monsters
    -- No specifics will be given about Hard Mode additions
    -- Normal mode includes all changes listed below

    * Added NPC helper to the Decklo Grove for convience
    -- NPC helper will fix spell permanancy problems
    -- NPC helper will exchange green Cloak of Elvenkind for a black version
    -- NPC helper will exchange green Boots of Elvenkind for a black version
    -- I will add functional aids as needed

    * Hill Giants will now throw giant rocks

    * Fixed problems with Jarvis Hann and his well
    * Fixed Black Jay's Sheep quest (now has proper ending)
    * Fixed dialog problems with Jaroo
    * Fixed problem of multiple Juggernauts appearing
    * Fixed graphics problem with male version of blue villagers clothing
    * Fixed Resurrection/Raise Dead (experience loss is correct now)
    * Fixed problem with getting stuck on random encounter map
    * Fixed problem with random teleport to Brothel (I think!)
    * Fixed a lot of different dialog problems
    * Another set of Gnolls in the Temple had their DR removed
    * More fixes for whores and other NPCs related to whores
    * Fixed at least 50 NPCs that had too few feats for their class
    * Fixed Lamia problem with Charm: Summoned Lamia no longer casts Charm

    * Additional Reputation added for the truely righteous
    * Additional dialogs here and there

    * Otis will now correctly open his store once he has left your party
    * Burne will now correctly open his store once he has left your party

    * Jarvis Hann now sells bullets
    * Added proper descriptions to some magical items

    * Furnok now has special events (stats changed)
    * Turuko now has special events (stats changed)
    * Zert now has special events (stats changed)
    * Kobort now has special events (stats changed)
    * Raimol now has special events (stats changed)
    * Meleny now has special events (stats changed)
    * Lareth now has special events (stats changed)
    * Spugnoir now has special events (stats changed)
    * Elmo now has special events (stats changed)
    * Scorpp now has special events (stats changed)

    * All NPCs that can join party have had some work done to them

    * Created special dialog option for NPC inventory manipulation
    -- You can tell them not to sell/give away their items
    -- You can buy starting equipment in most cases
    -- Buying their starting equipment will open new dialog options
    -- You can then tell them to sell/give away their items
    -- You will now have close to 100% contol of inventory items
    -- Note: if an NPC has two or more of one item dialog options may need repeating
    -- This should now be available for all NPCs that can join party
    -- Note: telling an NPC not to sell/give away items causes memorized spell loss
    -- You simply have to re-select spells and rest in order to re-memorize them

    * NPCs will sometimes loot gems/jewelry which they will sell to merchants
    * NPCs should get some loot for themselves as this only makes sense
    * It is only a tiny fraction compared to what the PC Party gets

    * Balor Guardian now has a higher challenge rating
    * Balor Guardian now has Death Throes

    * Stealing in the Church of St. Cuthbert is no longer necessary

    * Charm Monster/Charm Person no longer removes NPCs from party (in most cases)
    -- This was a massive effort to fix problems with these spells
    -- CTD from Suggestion no longer happens (NPCs no longer cast Suggestion)
    -- Charm Monster/Charm Person expire when combat ends
    -- No longer must you kill an NPC that goes forever hostile from Charm
    -- When an NPC in your party is Charmed they will forget their spells
    -- This is the same problem as inventory management
    -- Once combat ends you simply need to re-select the spells and rest
    -- Note: Not all NPCs work the same
    -- In some cases NPCs will remain hostile
    -- In some cases you will need to talk to the NPC to get them to rejoin

    * Changed the random encounter tables: slightly more variety + new encounters (there are now spell casters in random encounters)

    Wow! You really did a lot of things! I can't wait to try the 2.0 ^_^
    Now I guess that you'll have a lot of time to spend reading old posts, because we opened new discussions about the games: we are always complaying about something! hehehe.....

    Sounds great, I hope to use this mod for my next play-through.

    BTW does your change log only list the "changes" from 1.5.1 -- or is it a complete list of new content?

    The change log that is listed is just for things changed from 1.5 to 2.0

    The finished Change Log will have all changes including the older ones listed.

    Liv-- could you alter animate dead (when cast by NPC's) so that the players PC's/NPC's leave the group? That should fix the problem I was having with Zaxis (and again later with Wonnilon).

    and rannos davl and gremag's dialogue when your trying to find larreth, contain's errors, I made my own fix but havn't posted it on the forum.

    Agrees with Headhunter... About the ETA thing lol. Would really like to see this in action now.

    I have one question concerning the changes if I may. I saw listed some changes to NPC script and stats...will that change it very much from what was originaly intended story wise? I am asking as I never got to finish the vanilla game because of the bugs and ultimately the many CTDs that I got in the nodes.

    Thank you and congratulations on your excellent work. You made an interesting but incomplete game into a playable exprerience for me !!!! :sphappy:
