Hail, everyone. I'm new to ToEE and the forum so I hope this is the right place for this to be posted and apologize if it's not. Anywho, I seem to have a minor issue with the game. When I go to create a new character, the little boxes where you align your stats for STR, DEX, CON, etc, are grey and display no text... if that makes sense. I've uploaded an image so you can see what I mean. It's not game breaking, but just a small annoyance. It looked as it should when the game was installed vanilla, but now it's like this after I installed Co8 Modpack 8.0.0 and Patch 8.0.1. Maybe you guys can help shed some light on the issue.
It's a known and unavoidable 'bug' that resulted from the user interface overhaul. Just rest assured that those six boxes represent the standard array of abilities that 3.5 always uses, in the order it always uses - strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, charisma.
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Like I said, it's not game breaking and I understand the order of them so it's barely an issue. Although, maybe this could be fixed by adding a custom text to be applied with the overhaul? I'm not sure how modding this game goes though or if those kind of things even work. Either way, thanks for the reply.
Yeah, I had the same thing. Even if you don't remember the stat positions, they are shown in order to the lower left too, so if you forget the order, they show there.
The game system for putting that screen (and all ToEE's UIs) together is complex. We tried everything, and there's no way to display anything there, given the dynamics of the rest of the UI.
