Trying to setup the game on my new laptop. However something is wrong. I´ve downloaded ToEE from GOG.com which should already be patched. I downloaded the module and installed it, did the same with the upgrade patch and installed a portrait pack. But now it won´t start. I use AVAST which should already ignore TOEE.exe and just in case I added the folder to the exclusion list. I reinstalled java as that might have been the reason for it not starting, but still no. I use Windows 7. When I try to start it up be pressing play in ToEE Front X it claims it has written the reason in a log file, but where can I find it so I can try to fix the problem? I never had this issue on my old computer which also ran Win7 and Avast. Help? :no:
Just remembered that I ran the 8.0 NC exe file and right afterwards the 8.1 patch before I made it active in the ToEE Front X. Not sure if that would have any impact.
