Hey Folks, I'm rather new to the forum and haven't gotten to spend much time around it but I had a few questions about modding and characters and things: I was wondering if it was possible to add a sixth custom character to the party, unsure if possible, whether console commands, modding the actual map to place an NPC LIKE my custom character? I don't know really what I'd need to do, but my party is a group of adventurers that I tend to play with in ALOT of games, usually 4 or 6 of them at a time, but is there a way to add one more custom someway into the game? If this question has already been asked, would it be a chore to direct me to its location so I can get my answers that way.
Run your TFE-X in your game folder then look for "Options" click it, under that you will find "Max number of Players in the Party" set it to "6 player characters, 2 NPCs". Your good to go, click the "Play" button. You can even have 8 player characters but you cannot take along any NPCs, just set it there whenever you like. If I'm getting you wrong, just go to Hommlet Inn, look for Ostler Gundigoot the Inn owner, near him there is a table and a "BOOK" press it and you can create another custom PC there. Enjoy!
Quest Completed: The method worked just fine, and I don't mind having to go to the inn before i can add a another member, I usually like to start a game with only ONE as the "leader", then go to the inn and call in the rest of the help. Thanks
If you want 6 or more characters in your party after choosing the number from the front-end, you can add them directly to your party right then and there rather than waiting to get to Hommlett- you just won't be able to see their portrait pics until you get to the shop screen (unless you simply play your game that way...).
