Help newbie ????

    First question i'am running with patch 1,2 co8 3.0.4 and Livony's 1.5
    wonnilon's backpack shows as "T" in my inventory has anyone reported
    this before....
    Second i have tried to create items with the shift~ and all i get is one arrow
    that says "do not use"

    p.s Livonya your mod rocks i had given up on this game

    It happened to me too, the first time, because I assigned to my armors and weapons an ID that was used from a door :D
    You have to open the protos editor, choose the item cathegory that you want and then make a new ID number that is equal to the last one +1, so you should be sure of not making mistakes.
    Let me know if it works.

    questions ???

    I don't think i was clear i did not edit wonnilnn's backpack i was playing the game normal, i was just messing around with the shift ~ to try and add
    the holy +5 sword i don't know enough to mod but would love to give it a go !!!!!!! with some direction.......

    Open the console....

    ...and type {give 4025}

    Arthur's in Avalon, and won't be needing it for a while...

    All too true, Merlin stole the working sword, this one is just a replica posted by Troika to fool D&Ders. :)

    what is the # for his backpack, and can anyone tell me where the numbers are in the toee folder...... thanks for any help you can give a newbie


    P.S i finally got the shift ~ to work and now my paladin has the +5 sword

    easy open the folder named data, then mes, then open description.mes. all the numbers and item names are in there.

    if you want to see what each item does open data/rules/protos.tab with notepad, find the item number from description.mes and follow the line across, all the atributes and abilities are in there.

    New problem ??

    I looked in the description.mes found wonnilion's bckpack # 16004 tried to
    put ingame and now i get CTD's everyone of my saved games... thank you for
    any help you can give me.

    just so you know the backpacks and bags of holding have been disabled in game, practically from the get go, wonnilons backpack is in the chest in the cell on the left of wonnilons own cell in level 1 of the temple, but it doesn't do anything.

    If you drop the "T" does a door appear where you droped it? That's happend to me once before. Sound like you have a corrupt file somewhere. Time to reinstall.

    This has happened to me every time I've tried the "give" command in the console. No matter what number I use, it's a T and a crash. Must have something to do with our setup or something. I'm just using patch 2 and temple.zip. Does one need co8 or livonya or something?

    Probably, you're only typeing a wrong number in the console. Check the protos to search for the right ID of what you're looking for.
