I just bought this game yeasterday, as I am a fan of Trokia's other works. I understand that it is very buggy when not patched so I tried patching it. Just the normal install the game starts up and will play, but if I install patch 2 it asks me to put the play disc in, even when said disc is already in the drive. I havent tried doing the different patchs in the order given on this fourm, but I figuered I'd go ahead and ask if anybody knows how to fix this problem, should these fan patchs not solve it for me. update here; Patching in the order didnt fix it. Installing patch2 at all leaves me unable to play the game as it just keeps asking for the cd
Try deleting the game, re-install the game. and put in patch 2 before you start the game. It's a good idea to install co8-3.0.4 and temple.dll before yor start. The other mods can wait until your comfortable with the game.
