So I am loving this module! Me and my friends played this in third/fourth grade and was my first introduction to DND. I am having difficulty completing quests(I cant even reach the bandits due to rocks in the way). I recruited a dwarf(great backstory with this guy BTW)and he was in the caves of chaos but still did not trigger them to appear on the map. I wish there was a walkthrough or general help guide somewhere.
Re: KotB not activating. The Caves are not available in the Demo, but will be in the final release coming soonish. For the rocks, try climbing Didn't the wemic tell you that?
Re: KotB not activating. Ive been trying not to ask but....I cant seem to climb or find out how to climb using my resources. Would someone please instruct me on this? i have tried all menu options/radial menu/standing in different locations and no dice!!! Please take pity on the desperate.
Well, the 'resources' you should be using are the rope and grappling hook, available from the Provisioner. Just go somewhere where you think you might want to climb and use the rope from the radial (inventory) menu. The Climb skill (and grappling hook) will be employed as necessary, or you will get a 'not here' floatline or something similar.
