Does the game support Epic Levels for NPCs? What happens when an NPC character or monster is placed above level 20 by editing protos.tab? Does the game crash? Are there workarounds so that the character is nearly-but-not-quite the same as an Epic character in order to get around the fact that Epic levels are not supported? Thanks.
I notice that certain of the characters (Iuz, St. Cuthbert) go well beyond ECL 20. What was done in their case to make up for lack of Epic Levels?
Use one of the editors (I forget their names) to look at them. One of the editors is easier to use than the other.
Iuz and ST Cuthbert are avatars of their deity. A weaker representation of the God visiting the mortal plane, they don't have to follow any character rules. I'm sure Troika just gave them very high stats and ridiculous feats.
