There probably isn't in-game (though we should script a workaround for that), but you can get rid of it with the following console code:

    Code:
    game.party[0].reputation_remove(1)
We should also work on Meleny in the Snakepit, yes.

    Two questions:

1- is there anyway to access the spell list for a cleric's domain spells after 10th lvl? I have empty spell slots but no spells to choose from.

2- have a NE party trying to get in good with Darilla. At lvl 13 my female human Rogue has 20 Bluff, 22 Diplomacy, 22 Gather Info, 24 Intimidate and 18 Sense Motive and still can't get anything from him. My 13 lvl female NG Bard has a 21 Bluff, 23 Diplomacy, 21 Gather Info, 9 Intimidate and 4 Sense Motive- but she was able to get the quest to kill the jeweler at lvl 11, when Bluff, Diplomacy and Gather Info were at least 2 points less. I don't have any special feats for either one like Persuasive or Investigator but the NG party did include a Paladin and Druid and both parties have in common a wizard, cleric and sorcerer (the NE party has a fighter and monk as opposed to the paladin and druid). Does this quest have any other triggers other than the required points in a particular skill or is it possible Darilla actually responded to someone else in the NG party?

The modpack explained thread has a list of all added spells, which should include all higher level domain spells.

This sort of thing has been reported before with Darlia, but I have no idea what the problem is. The only control is indeed a simple skill check. The fact that it works for one PC and not another is just goofy, with the only possible culprit I can think of being a misplaced bracket or something silly like that that screwed up the syntax for one PC but not the other due to different dialog node travels or what have you. Finding little tiny errors like that in large dialog files is torturous.

NPCs generally only seek out the party leader when they initiate dialog. Otherwise, whichever PC initiates contact with an NPC is the speaker.

The only thing I did different when my NG party approached Darila as opposed to my NE party was that my bard spoke to the other guy first- maybe that's it? As for the Domain spells, it may be that I don't have the right domains to get the available spells- I'll have to check and see which domains my NE and NG clerics have but a quick question- my NE cleric has Blasphemy greyed out on his spell selection list- I would have thought that any evil cleric could cast that. Is it alignment dependent?

The only requirements for Blasphemy are evil, level 7/domain 7.

    Hi all:

Ran into a consistent issue and am hoping for a work around.
I am playing a NG party

After receiving the Gremlich quest and speaking to Mona in Nulb I returned to the TOEE and slew Zuggy. Returned to Homlet, identified goods, sold and slept to regain spells.

Now I am trying to return to Verbobonc. When I leave Hommlet I always encounter the Gremlich screaming random encounter. I go to the world map and try to head to Verbobonc.

When the screen returns the map looks like the last location I was in and my characters portraits are level 1 blue characters with the names:
    1- Fantasy Longsword
    2- Black Leather Boots
    3- Verbobonc Shield
    4- Verbobonc Guard
    5- Verbobonc Shield
    6- Hoodless Circlet
    7- Green Cloak
    8- Ochre Village Garb

When I attempt to load a previous save the game CTD with an error.

Never been this far in TOEE ever so I don't know if this is a known issue.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

PS: After more testing I found that the Monster Mash quest is still Blue as I have not been able to speak with the Canon in Verbo.
I've gone back over half a dozen saves and have the same issue. It only happens when I try to go to Verbo. The misc. character names do differ and occasionally the first character is a picture of the Gremlich. This occurs when I teleport or try to go over land to Verbo.

Is there a way I can reset the Monster Mash quest to green and do some more testing?

FYI: Most of the characters are a blue outline with a bright blue T.
    Thanks

I am having a bit of trouble in doing the elemental parts of the ToEE. More than once, the game has appartantly frozen up on me as I am trying to move. When that happens, it is difficult to get the system to do anything at all, but sometimes I have been able to ALT-TAB and/or Ctrl-Alt-Del to get a picture of what is going on. When I do, I can see that toee.exe is clocking up 50% of cpu -- i.e. all of one of the dual cores. It is also doing a lot of reads. Eventually, it comes back to life and I can carry on, but sometimes I have to kill it using taskmaster..

I have also noticed on a few occasions that the cursor is inappropriate. I might be trying to cast a spell and instead of the wand symbol, I get something else.

@odrew, is the map where that happens a wilderness map, or Verbobonc? I've never heard of anything like that, though it sounds rather serious. The Monster Mash quest wouldn't affect anything btw.

@dale, you seems to be describing lag, which is traditionally worst in the Nodes. Are you sure you're playing a fully and properly activated mod? Lag should be much less in the latest couple releases.

I am playing with 7.5, activated.

I had a thought on something that might be contributing to that lag. My computer does a small number of background tasks according to a time schedule -- even when I am in full screen playing the game. It may be possible that those tasks have stolen the focus from ToEE, even though they did not steal the screen. If so, and if ToEE has difficulty sharing (or waking up after it has been told to sleep for a few seconds) that might be a contributing factor --- and one that none of the developers could do anything about.

It happens from all maps. I've attempted it from Homlett, Decklo, Nulb, inside TOEE, wilderness ect. The world map makes it look like I arrive in Verbo but the map is always a plain green field with the odd blue characters. The character names vary most every time, characters named 'Gold', 'Leather Armor' ect...

email me and I will send you whatever files you like: ojdrew at shaw .ca
There appears to be no work around so far. I've loaded games going way back and I always have the same error when going to Verbo. Can't continue at this point so I don't play.

Will have to start a new party and hope for the best.

    Update:

So tonight I decided to revert to 7.4.1 and I can walk into Verbo again.
I find that very interesting, I'll probably reinstall 7.5 and see if that fixes my issues.
    http://www.co8.org/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

It may simply be a corrupted file relating to Verbo in 7.5
Problem started when I transferred my party from 7.4.1 to 7.5

    Cheers all.

It is mentioned in the TOEE Front end section I believe that when you activate a new modpack you HAVE to start with new characters- more than likely using the old ones is what's causing your problem...

You can transfer from 7.4.x to any 7.4.x but when you go from 7.4.x to 7.5.x you will have troubles.

    (X=version sub number)
