    As for the spiders not really eating things, think of the ring as found on the dessicated husk of a spider's past meal... :evilgrin:

    It's a monstrous spider anyways, what says it has the diet and eating habbits of a normal spider (esp given its hostility).

    What about the thing (I think it was a giant lizard) guarding the chest with the +1 shield in the moathouse (near the Giant tick)?
