how do you play the arena in modpack 6.1.0NC

    Okay, I've opened the locked chest at the blacksmith's . I read the book that you find. I accepted the challenge, and I killed the three bugbears-- now what? Is there a bug or is the area unfinished? I've checked all of the maps and walked all over. Please tell me that I'm not stuck with a wasted game. Nothing else is happening except for a bunch of rubber-neckers watching. I can't leave, and I can't "rest".

    Thanks, florian1. Now, exactly HOW do I do that? As I said I've passed time there (days); I've searched for doors; I've looked for someone to talk to; there is simply nothing there. Is there something I should do to make the arena master appear? I've tried everything I can think of and I'm still stuck in the arena with no way out and nothing to do.

    He should appear on the left side of the arena.

    If one of your party is standing where he should spawn he will not spawn.

    Move your party around and then come back to the left middle area of the arena, he should appear and a one sided dialog should began that sends you back to town.

    Okay, I surrender. I tried walking everywhere, passing time, and cutting ties with a dead character that I thought might be interfering. Nothing. Nothing at all. Since I am now officially hosed and don't need to worry about losing the game I think I'll do something different with my computer.

    Suit yourself, but you're far from "hosed."

    If you want, you can open the console (press shift and tilde [~] simultaneously), and input the following:

    Code:
    create 14578
    Press enter and close the console by pressing shift and tilde again. There should be another master of the arena standing there, and if his heartbeat is working correctly he should start talking to you. If he doesn't, go talk to him. The only snafu you might suffer down the line is that there may be two of them now.

    Out of curiosity, before you do the above, could you input the following into the console and tell us what it says in return?

    It should say three if you killed all three owlbears. You didn't charm any, did you?
