Oohlghrist Problems

So, I am trying to complete either the Fire or Water Temple quests to recruit Oohlghrist and every time I approach him he goes postal. So, what do I got to do to start a dialog with the Troll?

Did you attack one of the neighboring trolls? That can cause him to attack on sight.

 

I guess we have to define neighboring.

If you are talking just the two trolls at the entrance of his area, then no. I haven't attacked the owlbear or hydra tamers either.

I did however wipe out the trolls with the keys.

Beyond that, I am not sure...

Ok,

Went back a few saves until I could talk to the Troll Chief.

It definitely is not the Troll Keys that set him off. I am not sure what I did that pissed him off.

I am just going to suck it up and go back to the earlier save...

Too late now but yeah, I was talking about the two on either side of Green, Tall, and Gruesome.
