problem installing mod pack

    Hi. i looked through the subforums but couldn't find anyone for help so i'll post this here for now.

    i've downloaded the game from gogs. i've tried to install the two atari patches but that doesn't work. then i installed version 6 of the circle of 8 mod but when i try to start TEF-X i get "another instance of TOF-X is already running" even though i can see no evidence of this.

    You dont need to install the patches with GoG.
