NPC's help

    when i talk to say Otis or Burne they say the join and stuff but it doesnt appear at the bottom.

    wrong party alingment or a corrupted save? Reload?

    Burne is lawful good and Otis Neutral good so I don't know if they will join an evil alinged group. What is your group's alingment?

    Also if tyour save is broken, just load another save prior the moment you tried to recrute them and try again.

    damnit i did the whole moathouse plus more and didnt save. stupid me. so i think im just gonna start a new game. i am true good

    Is your max number of PCs set to 5?

    Even if it is, NPCs shouldn't agree to join if there is no room. Likewise the alignment shouldn't be an issue. If they have an alignment problem they should say so, not agree to join.

    no i have 6 people and only elmo for an npc. so otis says ok lets go after he agrees to join but he doesnt actually join. and i thought there was 150gp you had to give him. it doesnt give me that option.

    Hi Toole
    You might also want to check your "Maximum number of NPCs". To do this, start the ToEE Front-End X. Before you click on "Play" to actually start the game, press F11. This will show you (and allow you to change) the maximum number of PCs and NPCs you can have in your party. Keep in mind that the maximum number of Characters (not counting animal followers and summoned/ charmed creatures) that you can have in your party is 8.

    i personally think it is a glitch not a "im not seeing something" type of thing ill try re-installing it hoping for the best
