Portion of protection from undead

You find this potion in the bookcase in the Church of St. Cuthbert. What the heck does it do? There is no spell or potion by that name that I can find in the SRD.

 

Not sure but it may be like a protection from evil spell, though oriented to undead.

 

Does it actually work?

 

I tested it in the Arena... it looks like it gives 7/- Damage Reduction to HTH undead attacks (not when wielding weapons, like skeletons usually do). Worked very well for the person swarmed by the ghouls and zombies.
