    The D&D 3.5 SRD states:
Gaear, you were right - elven chain is nonmagical.

My rogue has the Opportunist special rogue ability but I have only ever seen him use it twice in the game. Most of the time, the game seems to ignore the Opportunist ability from functioning.

My rogue was able to select another special rogue ability feat at level 12 (after having already selected a special rogue ability feat at level 10), but he wasn't able to select another special rogue ability at level 15.

When using the Craft Magic Arms & Arnor feat, it is possible to add the Defending and Keen properties to Iolo's Joy (i.e. a crossbow). The D&D 3.5 SRD states that these 2 properties can be added to melee weapons only:
The mouse-hover text for the Simple Weapon Proficiency feat lists the weapons "crossbow, light crossbow, heavy crossbow" (see screenshot below). The "crossbow" entry should be removed because it is not applicable.

The Light Pick Martial Weapon Proficieny (see screenshot below) should be removed from the game because the player is not able to use any Light Picks in the game.

    The D&D 3.5 SRD states:
Considering that the Light Pick is a weapon that is in both the D&D 3.5 SRD and the computer game manual and is already listed in the Martial Weapon Proficiency list and the Improved Critical weapon list of this computer game, is it possible to add both the normal version and masterwork version of this weapon to this computer game?

Both uses are correct, though IIRC "disoriented" is a lot more common, at least in the US of A.

    Subtle difference:

Disorientated" is the state of the object of the action "disorientate". It implies the object was once "orientated".

"Disoriented" is the state of being not "oriented", which may, in fact, be a permanent state.

(Hears the BULLSHIT! alarm going off, looks around, and quickly vanishes.)

My first time using this new modpack, I have not played in about a year.

I've not been able to deciede on a party. My originals have been basically two warriors, a healer type and mage and rogue. My last I had a half orc barbarian with a glaive from what I remember. And someone dual weilding two sword types I think. I think there was a ranger and a crafting cleric and a monk with exotic weapon profecienties.

I'm considering a character with the glaive again, and maybe some flawed heroes. The scythe, trident and great hammer (is that what the greater temple leader uses?) look like interesting weapon choices.

I was also wondering if anyone remembers the original party in the demo of the vanilla game? I think there was a bard, monk, paladin and maybe a half orc or a rogue.

Hedrack does indeed use a greathammer (which uses the Warhammer martial weapon proficiency). There's also a Holy Greathammer in the Earth Node. My 3 favourite weapon animations in the game so far are with the greathammer, the spiked chain, and the orc double axe.

I checked Hickory Branch a while after I had cleared it out and I encountered no problems whatsoever with any of Lord Hungous' lieutenants attacking my party as ghosts.

I checked all of the hemlock items on the ground to the west of Black Jay's house and I could not get my game to crash no matter how hard I tried. I was able to pick all of the hemlock up just fine (even targeting them from a long way away with animals in between my character and the hemlock.

1 of the zombies (on the right side) survived Abaddon's Turn Undead attempt both times that I did the slavers fight. Is this intentional? The zombie causes Gershom to waste the first few rounds of the combat firing ineffectually (or ineffectively) at it, and Sharar-be-L'ial wastes the first few rounds killing the zombie when he could be attacking the player's characters. The combat is already WAY too easy! If that zombie was always destroyed by Abaddon's Turn Undead attempt, then the combat would be a little more difficult (which is a good thing!).

Sometimes when I examine the logbook, the game crashes to desktop the instant that I click on another one of the tabs (e.g. "Hommlet & Verbobonc", "Nulb", "The Temple of Elemental Evil").

After I accepted the 3 quests in Verbobonc to bring the fugitives to justice, whenever I changed maps in the game, the game always plays an unintended sound for a second or two as I my party is changing maps and appearing on another map.

    The D&D 3.5 SRD states:
Is it possible to add the weapon Punching Dagger to this computer game? It is currently possible in this computer game to select Weapon Focus and Improved Critical with Punching Dagger.

All of the Ioun Stones that the slavers have are already identified when the player loots them from the slavers' corpses.

The Kukri +2 (that the player loots from Sharar-be-L'ial's corpse) is only worth approximately 300 GP (see screenshot below). It is supposed to be worth thousands more GP. Also, the long description for the Kukri +2 has the wrong statistics:
    To Hit Bonus: +1
    Damage: 1d4
    Critical Range: 19-20/x2.

    They should be:
    To Hit Bonus: +2
    Damage: 1d4+2
    Critical Range: 18-20/x2

Okay, I'll add portraits for the guardian types. (Facing the other way like with the salamanders/flame brothers.)

Already fixed for the next release.

I've hit the real thing plenty of times.

    Will fix.

There are limited drow portraits to go around, and it's hard to make others 'drow-ish.' I could maybe just make the existing ones face the other way or something.

    Will fix.

I disagree. Maybe it's a colloquialism or something, but "most anything" is what I wanted him to say.

    Will fix.

I think it's 'Lerrik,' per Allyx's original content. I'll straighten that out.

    Will fix.

    trav·el·er or trav·el·ler (trvl-r, trvlr)
    n.
    1. One who travels or has traveled, as to distant places.
    2. often traveller Chiefly British

    I'll look.

That may need to stay that way if it's an internal reference. (i.e., if the game considers that feat 'Spike Chain,' changing the name might nullify the feat for everybody who has it.)

Does it really matter? I don't suppose players would select a feat for a weapon they don't have.

I've seen that before in a number of places. No idea what causes it.

I've noticed that if you have the entire party selected, using the radial menu will always apply to the party leader (left-most), no matter who you actually right-click on.

Except for when it's enchanted with magical bonuses, like green, blue, and purple. ;)

    dis·o·ri·ent (ds-ôr-nt, -r-)
    tr.v. dis·o·ri·ent·ed, dis·o·ri·ent·ing, dis·o·ri·ents
To cause (a person, for example) to experience disorientation

'Disoriented' is a transitive verb form of 'disorient' and is different from the noun 'disorientation.'

    Will fix.

Not without a weapons animation specialist modder.

That was as intended, but will change in the next release.

That might be how it's supposed to be. Wouldn't they be obvious, what with the colors and all?

    Will fix.

    Thank you very much!

I made the Welkwood Bog Quest, the Hickory Branch Quest, the Arena Challange and at last the witch quest.
I've beaten the witch in the moathouse, rescued the witch in the forest after the drow battle, killed the swamp mother.
But I don't get a new quest, after talking with the smith or with Kent. What I've to do next?

    Greetings

Work a bit on the temple. Once you found out about the factions there may be more for you to do...

Once you learn about the factions, THEN go back and talk to brother Smythe. He will be the one to direct you to Verbobanc. :) Have fun with the adventures available in the city.

Was trying out some new 6th level spells, and after casting Analyze Dweomer I have a "Spell Object" lying on the ground:

Also, this may have been covered earlier, but most of Hedrack's equipment seems way under priced, specifically his armor, shield, and hammer. Maybe is because they are all evil and Brother Smyth doesn't like them, but he paid top dollar for the unholy orc axe.

General Ghoul, was your spellcaster's inventory full when your spellcaster cast Analyze Dweomer?

The Silver Breastplate +1 is already identified when the player loots it from Kendrew Commonworth's corpse.

The Shortsword +2 (that the player loots from Gunter Gladstone's corpse) and the Bastard Sword +1 (that the player loots from Quintus Corpus' corpse) both display the incorrect damage bonus in their long descriptions (see screenshots below).

When I fought the slavers, all of the slavers had their names identified during the combat except for the Barbarian who remained being identified simply as "Barbarian".

A few times when my party entered the Bizaar of the Bizarre, I saw a swirling eldritch energies animation in the small room to the east (where the mouse pointer is in the screenshot below) that disappeared after a couple of seconds. I killed Senshock in the Greater Temple of Elemental Evil. Is that where Senshock is positioned if he becomes a vendor?

There is a bug when confirming critical hits where an attack roll of 1 is not an automatic miss (see screenshot below).

When I fought the fugitives in the Inn of the Welcome Wench, Gunter Gladstone was in the room to the east of where Kendrew Commonworth is (see screenshot below). My fighter (who was in the room that Kendrew Commonworth is in) performed a cleave attack against Gunter Gladstone through the wall. Is it possible to block the walls around the room that Kendrew Commonworth is in so that cleave won't work through the walls?

What function (if any) do the Silver Star Badge of Veluna and the Gold Crown Badge of Furyondy (that the player gets from rescuing Prince Thrommel) have in the game?

Yes he was full after the fight with Hedrack and company and I didn't want to waste any identify spells, but after casting AD for the first time there, it seems you can target other characters with the spell (5 total for me), so it may not have been necessary to load him up. After resting in that spot, the spell item never went away, but after leaving the temple and returning it was not there.

After meeting the Prince's friends, I had my ranger call a friend (chicken) and pulled my wizard familiar out of the backpack (he was happy to get some air after 4 months in there), and they all got the badges and 1000pp. In the next random encounter the chicken met an untimely death and I was able to loot the badge off of the body, just before eating it. The extra cash did help, as I'm heavily crafting with 3 characters.

Merit badges for chickens are win.

    Will fix.

NPCs only become identified (if they have an assigned name) after speaking. Persis the barbarian nevers speaks.

Yes. Sometimes he casts his first heartbeat spell even if he's not turned on. (lol, that is, his OF_OFF object flag is unset)

I don't suppose it's working through the wall, but around the wall. Sometimes the game is quirky that way. You have to look at the base of a wall where it meets the floor to see how close you really are. Was the guy who did it that polearm-weilding fellow?
