No this isn't an ad for Viagra, After trying for almost a day I can't seem to get the Co8 mods working... I did patch 1 and 2 NOT 3!!! the .exes are set to Win XP ( i am using WIn 7) and all set to admin... Yet I keep getting all these Microsoft .NET errors... the latest one is Could not find a part of the path'C:\Program Files (x86)Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\data/docs'. Hmmm the correct files SHOULD be in the docs/module folders... but maybe I missed something. I have the Co8 mod and the KotB mods installed.. maybe I missed something else I need.
Okay,, I dont get the new error anymore, but now I get the following error Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index. Any ideas on this one?
OK, uninstall and delete all files. Make a clean install to a folder OTHER THAN Program Files or any Windows-protected folders (e.g. C:\TOEE or C:\Games\TOEE) Follow the normal procedure (patch, nocd if needed, Co8). You don't need patch1, patch2 includes that. This is all it took for me, runs w/o even needing admin mode. Also make sure the Co8 pack was DL'd fully and isn't corrupted.
