Hi, I have been into modding Diablo2 :LOD for sometime now and have only just started to play ToEE.

I'm interested in the animation editing side of modding and does anyone know what programs were used to make the monsters in ToEE or what programs can be used to work with the extracted files.

    Thanks.

I've encountered the .skm etc before (Arcanum I think).

It would be good if companies could release some tools for their games as it draws even more interest to the product IMO.
I looked into the mapping side but there only appears to be shifting of levels and no altering/adding of graphics.

So, there doesn't appear to be much graphic wise that I could play around with except for changing graphics for the items, icons or the ui.

It could be possible to "introduce" anims from Arcanum though. :transform

TOEE engine is just Arcanum engine with a face-lifting, so format compatibility should be expected.

I just got my hex editor to work in changing the skin of a model with an internal code for its image location. doesn't really help with tha animation side of things tho.

To quote myself, not possible, Arcanum uses a different way of animations.

Wish I could remember what game it was that uses the same files.

Something like MTG or similar keeps popping to mind.

SS uses a format with * this extension*, but I doubt that is what you were thinking of. :)
