    Hey all,

Linux rookie here who's trying to get TOEE running ;)

When I run "mono TFE-X-linux" from a terminal window I get 2 confirmation boxes about directories being created and then this error:

    ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipException: Cannot find central directory
    at ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipFile.ReadEntries () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
    at ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipFile..ctor (System.String name) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Further attempts to run the same command result in a "you must run this from the TOEE root directory". Restoring from a backup directory again results in the first error message.

I did a fresh install of TOEE, applied patch 1 and 2 so that looks OK.

I am using Mint 13 and mono 2.10.8.1.
Maybe also worth mentioning, the installation directory is .wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Atari/Temple of Elemental Evil, with the annoying (x86) folder for old apps.

    Any clues?

Hi Koen, you're very likely only going to get meaningful feedback on this from Agetian, and he is only around periodically. Just don't want you to think we're ignoring you. :)

This thread has been unstuck and closed because the old front-end (ToEE Front-End X v3.0e and below) is no longer supported. Please discuss the new, updated front-end v4.0 here. Please note that the old Linux build of TFE-X v3.0e is fully superceded by the new cross-platform TFE-X v4.0.
