    LOL! I only got 600 odd, but then I onl;y did a clean install recently, very few pyc files so far... yeah that sounds right, where the heck did that py_start.py thing go?

    Hey have you tried a new player with the wmp thing? Reckon you could give it a go with the patch?

    And could someone lemme know if the newest gamequestlog thing works? :wavey:

    Well that explains why that particular file was missing - it wasn't :blush:

    Oh, I just noticed that your 'download link' links directly to the files at co8.org. The server owner's pretty irritated that you ask people to visit your blog to find a download link to the mod (which links directly back to here) while asking people to click on your googleads.

    In his words, "Either host the downloads himself, or stop hotlinking to co8. ". So, there you go. I'm not taking the mod down, but...

    I suggest you edit your post on your blog to link directly to this thread, instead of hotlinking the file. The server owner's the one who has to pay all the bandwidth fees and I guess it's pretty annoying for him. I've renamed the file on the server to http://files.co8.org/mods/teds_mod_v1.0.zip so download the mod there, guys.

    Btw (since I certainly owe the owner an explanation), meant to have that go to the savefile.com server, but with my sounds already there would have gone over the 60mb limit. So I cut a few corners intending to get it all fixed up later. Give the owner my apologies.

    Ok Darmagon's stuff is through, so I am off to test and roll up the first official patch to my mod. Pretty happy there were only two teeny tiny bugs in the mod itself, but its a shame the upload had other issues (my own fault for forgetting to put files in :yawn: ).

    Back in a few hours.

    Hey Ted, great mod! Two small issues so far, though. Calmert still doesn't sell Scrolls of Bless, and I can't find Mandy. I've looked all over Homlett. Is she even in Homlett? Didn't Lila say she was a farmers wife? One suggestion would be to include a bit more info on the women in the note Lila gives you, i.e. Gloria, Inkeeper's wife, etc. Still, I love your mod. It's funny as hell so far.

    It may just be my install. I am using ToEE Front End, and since it wasn't set up for it, I've had some interesting times getting it to work. The Mandy thing I'm blaming on low blood sugar. I realized where she was after I got something to eat.

    If you'd like to use Shiningted's Mod with ToEE Front End Pro, you may want to check out the latest update (v3.0a) that allows seamless integration of custom music. Previous revisions had certain problems with custom music that usually resulted in fatal errors in TOEEFE.

    If you have problems installing Shiningted's Mod in TOEEFE v3.0a, please PM me and I'll help you out.

    Ahhh, issues being fixed in absentia. I love the Net!

    Just stopped by to upload the latest (indeed first) patch. And to grab the latest versions of ToEEWB and FrontEnd. Will not do a complete upload of the whole mod afresh til I have organised it for FrontEnd, but whatever happens, I will try to arrange so if at all possible you can go through patches if you already have it. To have to redownload 20+ Mb of .mp3's just to fix bugs or reorganisings in a few hundred Kb's of files is just silly.

    Look for the patch in the first post: it will include Darmagon's stuff to allow Paladin's and Rangers to cast their spells. (Huge effort that by Darmagon!) Should be there in 15-20 minutes.

    OldBook, can't find the cause of the MWP problem. I go into detail about it in the new Guide in the patch: atm I suspect it has more to do with the various new weapons in the other mods I bundled, rather than mine, but I am certainly going to keep looking until we get to the bottom of it.
